This Blog is Not Dead! – An Update

May 8, 2017

… Well, at least, I haven’t given up on it. It’s pretty dead as far as views. XD orz It’s just that most of my time is spent learning H!P dances instead of writing about H!P stuff. (^_^”) I’d like to start writing on here more, though. I have a few more H!P Vlogs planned, but, after those, if I want to talk about something H!P-related, I’ll just make a blog post on here~. That’s totally fine with me; I like adding pictures and changing fonts colors and stuff. XD Anyway, this is supposed to be an update post, so let’s get on with the updating!

Like I said, I’d like to do a few more H!P Vlogs for my channel. I’ve decided on two of them for sure: No Thinking! – Favorite °C-ute A-Sides, and Great H!P Memories. The third one I’m still trying to decide which one to do. I have a lot of things that I’d like to talk/write about, so I’m trying to figure out which would be best for a video. I might do something like my dream setlist for a Hello! Project concert (or just a Morning Musume concert). That might be a fun one for a video. Oh, now that I think about it, I wonder if I should do one about the fact that everyone who was in H!P when I first started listening (not counting Eggs) will be gone by July? T__T … So that’s what’s coming as far as H!P Vlogs.

As for other updates to this blog… first of all, I’d like to make some new banners. XD I still love Berryz Koubou, but I think I’ve had those banners since they went on indefinite hiatus. O_O And some posts I’d like to do eventually include more No Thinking! lists (lots, probably XD), and some best and worst (or favorite and least-favorite) discussions. I’ll probably do dream setlist posts, too~. =D

Well, these are just tentative plans, but I hope they work out! Even though I get next to no views on this blog, it’s fun to just write about something I love~. If someone else happens along and decides to read my posts, all the better~!

Over Two Years…

January 30, 2015

Wow, it’s been over two years since my last post on this blog. O__O I felt that I needed to start writing on here again, especially with all of the changes coming to Hello! Project these days. Seriously… Berryz… *insert all of the crying faces here*

That being said, I plan on uploading a few posts over the next few days to try to rank the Berryz Koubou music videos. I wanted to do something besides a dance cover to contribute to the Berryz Koubou Tribute Project, so I figured, hey, I have an H!P blog; why don’t I use it? =D So you can look forward to that!

Are you interested in contributing to the Berryz Koubou Tribute Project? I certainly hope so! It’s been slow-going since it started, but I still have faith! All you need to do to contribute is share something Berryz Koubou-related on Twitter and tag it with #berryz. The goal is to get them trending on Twitter before they go on indefinite hiatus. We’re going to try sharing our Berryz creations (dance/song covers, vlog/blog posts, cosplay, fanart, etc.) tomorrow (January 31st), and then we’ll need to pick a specific day to share anything and everything Berryz-related (favorite clips, music videos, pictures, your own dances, drawings, etc.; everything!) for one last push to get them trending. Please consider participating!

That’s all! Thanks for reading~!

Long Time No Write! : A Random Update

April 17, 2012

Wow, sorry for not writing for so long! D= The lack of updates doesn’t even make sense considering how much is going on in H!P. (^_^”)>

First of all, PVs: Morning Musume‘s “Renai Hunter,” Berryz Koubou‘s “Be Genki! <Naseba Naru!>,” all of °C-ute‘s PVs for “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku,” and S/mileage‘s “Dot Bikini.” I would really like to do full PV reviews eventually… Anyway, my general impressions are:
– “Renai Hunter” –
– “Be Genki! ” –
– “Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku” – ♥♥
– “Dot Bikini” –

I would also like to do reviews for Berryz Koubou’s and °C-ute’s latest albums~. Speaking of which, I absolutely adore the “Because Happiness” x “Shiawase no Tochuu” mashup! I’m going to go ahead and agree with the many others saying that Tsunku is a genius. If you haven’t heard it yet, be sure to check it out on the official Mobekimasu YouTube channel (mbcmschannel)~! =D

I was so happy to hear that Morning Musume not only got to number one for the daily ranking at one point for “Renai Hunter” (who cares if it wasn’t the weekly ranking? Baby steps, everyone! Plus, competition was ridiculous…), but they also broke the record for the most consecutive top ten singles! Hooray~!! That’s a great sendoff for Gaki-san~. ^_^

Well~, I’ll try to start updating more often after this. (^_^”)>

~General Update~

December 19, 2011

Hey, everyone! I finally updated the header for this blog! =D Actually, I used the preview pictures for Morning Musume‘s, Berryz Koubou‘s, and °C-ute‘s 2011 Christmas photo sets to make eight new Christmas headers! They change randomly. ^_^

I also updated my “☆ About Me ☆” page by adding to the favorites. I know I said that my all-time favorite H!P member would never change… and it didn’t, really; I just added to it. XD I guess I didn’t realize just how much I liked Ai-chan until it was time for her to graduate. T_T Also… I suppose it kind of defeats the purpose when you have more than one favorite member, huh? XD

As for the songs, I actually surprised myself by adding “Ai no Dangan,” but, even though I didn’t like the PV, I really like the song. I also have all three of °C-ute’s 2011 singles in my favorite °C-ute singles category. =O

Okay, I need to stop before I write out my year end post in a regular update. XD So~… that’s all for this time!

Possible Upcoming Posts and Other News

November 10, 2011

Wow. I haven’t posted in quite a while. (^_^”)> I was quite busy with my YouTube videos last month, and I’m currently taking a break from making videos in order to recover my health. Unfortunately, my arms in particular need to recover, so I can’t type as much as I want to. (>_<“)

Anyway, just to let any readers I have (there may be one or two… XD orz) know, I haven’t abandoned this blog. (^_^”)> Some posts I have planned include:

12, Smart album review
Discussion on placement of new members in subgroups
Rankings for S/mileage singles
Obscure songs I’d like to see performed in concert
H!P PVs in general: what I like, what I don’t, what I miss

And perhaps more. ^_^ I hope at least one of those is something to look forward to~. =D

On a random note, I was shocked when Maeda Yuuka‘s graduation was announced. I don’t want to read anything into it, but I can’t help but wonder if Ogawa Saki‘s departure from the group influenced her decision. Whatever the case, I wish her luck~.

Another bit of news that surprised me was Tsuji Nozomi and Goto Maki‘s appearance on stage at a Dream Morning Musume concert. I’m not going to lie; I was super-excited to see Maki on stage with all of the others again. For some reason, she seemed so much more animated that I remember her being in old Morning Musume activities.

Besides that (and this news is rather old), Fukuda Asuka is singing again~. I’m so glad, because she is quite an impressive vocalist. If only I enjoyed the kind of music she’s singing now… (^_^”)> With that news, it seems that all of the former MM members are keeping busy, except, perhaps, Kamei Eri (understandably)… and Kago Ai. I really do love Kago’s voice, so I hope she’ll start singing again, but, even if she doesn’t, I hope she’ll be able to do something she wants to do, whether that’s acting, writing, or even retiring from entertainment.

You know… I know a one-time, all Musume meetup is almost impossible, but I can’t help but hope. orz

Hooray for Morning Musume! ~Random Post~

April 18, 2011

So, I haven’t posted in a while, because I’ve been puzzling over something else I could post besides PV reviews (which reminds me… a review for “Koi ni Booing Buu!” needs to be written up…). What did I come up with? … Nothing, actually. orz But while I think on that, here are my thoughts on some recent MoMusu happenings.

Ai-chan has short, blonde hair now. Umm. I’m not sure what to think. I’m a firm believer that Ai-chan can make almost anything look great… I just haven’t decided whether or not this new hairstyle fits into the “almost anything” category. (^_^”)>

– The setlist for Morning Musume’s current tour has been out for… however long. I will readily admit to squealing with joy when I saw that “Suki na Senpai” was to be performed by the kyuukies. I suppose that’s tradition, though, isn’t it? Besides the gokkies, I know for sure that the rokkies performed this in their first concert, and Junjun and Linlin performed it as well (though I don’t recall if it was during their first concert…).

Other song choices that excited me:
*  “Fantasy ga Hajimaru” – One of my favorite songs from their Fantasy Juuichi album
*  “THE Manpower!!!” – I feel like I haven’t seen this one around forever! Mysterious~~
*  “Sungoi My Birthday” as performed by Mittsi, Fuku-chan, and Zukki – As much as I’m pulling for Eripon to improve and gain more fans, I can’t help but love Fuku-chan and Zukki best. ^_^
*  “Rainbow Pink” as performed by Sayu and Eripon – Even though the song gets on my nerves at some points, just the thought of Sayupink and Eripink kind of makes me giggle.
*  “Moonlight Night ~Tsukiyo no Ban da yo~” as performed by Ai-chan, Gaki-san, and Riho – I love this song, and it looks like they’re putting Riho into the big leagues early, huh?
*  “Namidacchi” – My favorite song from their 10 MY ME album

– Speaking of the kyuukies, what roles do you think they’ll fill? I’m fairly certain Riho is going to be another front girl for the group, and Zukki is filling the “mischievous/spunky member” role nicely. I have a feeling Fuku-chan will end up in a Gaki-san sort of situation where she is perhaps not used as much as she should be but she still remains a solid, helpful member who loves the group dearly. Eripon… maybe she’ll be a Sayu-like member, but hopefully less overbearingly confident in her cuteness. (^_^”) I guess we’ll have to wait and see…

(On a random note, notice that I haven’t changed the header for this month. This is due to the fact that my old laptop stopped working, and I don’t have Photoshop on my new laptop. *sadface*)

~Update 3~

December 27, 2010

– The ninth generation of Morning Musume will be announced on January 2nd.

Tsuji Nozomi delivered her second child, a boy, at 1:32 PM on December 26. He weighed 6.02 pounds (the same as his sister, Noa, when she was born), and his birthday is exactly a month after his sister’s.

– “Dream Morning Musume,” consisting of former MoMusu members Nakazawa Yuko, Iida Kaori, Abe Natsumi, Yasuda Kei, Yaguchi Mari, Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Ogawa Makoto, Fujimoto Miki, and Kusumi Koharu, will be going on tour this spring.

Berryz Koubou will make their US debut at Sakura Con in Seattle, Washington on April 22nd-24th, 2011.

°C-ute‘s 15th single, “Kiss Me Aishiteru,” has been announced for release on February 23, 2011.

~Update 2~

November 27, 2010

Suzuki Airi is starring in the straight-to-DVD horror drama “Keitai Kanojo” (“Mobile Phone Girl” … I believe). Is it just me, or are a lot of H!P artists in horror shows/movies lately…?

Okai Chisato and Shimizu Saki will have their first photobooks out soon. Additionally, Chisato’s version of Matsuura Aya‘s song “Love Namida Iro” was released on iTunes.

– The third round of exams have ended for 9th generation Morning Musume auditions. It makes me wonder… when will they we start seeing some of the participants?

Mano Erina‘s ninth single and S/mileage‘s fourth single, still both untitled, have been announced for January 26th and February 9th, respectively. Please let S/mileage have a fun, Valentine’s Day song~! ❤

– Hello Store USA had a Black Friday sale with some really amazing deals; unfortunately, yours truly didn’t get a chance to check until it was three hours into the sale… and most of the items were already out of stock. orz The ones that really blew me away were the large microfiber towels for $8.99! =O

– You may have noticed that the poll box is missing. I’ve decided not to do polls every week (because I’ve been failing at updating it regularly anyway XD). I’ve only been getting one or two votes lately anyway… (^_^”)> I will make new ones when I think of a decent question, though.

~Update 1~

November 13, 2010

I’ve decided to do general updates every once in a while. ^_^

– My condolences to Fujimoto Miki and her family; I was really shocked when I heard about her father passing away.

– Previews of each track from Tsuji Nozomi‘s upcoming album, Minna Happy! Mama no Uta are available. It was kind of odd hearing Tsuji singing “Hyokkori Hyoutanjima” without the rest of MoMusu. I was also surprised to see “Yuuki 100%” as one of the tracks.

– The covers for Morning Musume‘s 11th album, Fantasy! Juuichi are out. I’m not sure what to think about them; I rather like the some of the outfits (they’re the ones from the pond scenes in “Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game”), but the odd, doll-like poses are… different. It’s kind of a neat idea, what with the dollhouse in the background, though. … I think it’s just Ai-chan‘s and Reina‘s shoes and the way their legs/feet are posed that make me go (o_O). XD

– The preview of °C-ute‘s “Aitai Lonely Christmas” PV is up. I was hoping to see some of the dance, but it was just close ups and thoughtful posing so far. (^_^”) I rather like the song…

Okai Chisato has been uploading videos of herself dancing to °C-ute songs on their official YouTube channel. I kind of love this idea… having an actual member wearing regular clothes and dancing in a normal setting. Also, I, as a YouTube cover dancer, am happy that she is doing this because it’s like having a one-cut dance shot. =D

That’s all for now~.
