Great H!P-Related Memories – A Few Extra Notes

September 9, 2017

It has been such a blast to follow H!P for the past ten years~. There have been some low points (tons of complaints from other fans about anything and everything brings me down a bit; also lulls in releases kind of pulls my interest away at times), but there have been some really exciting times, too. Besides the moments I mentioned in the video, a few more come to mind:

– Morning Musume got their first #1 on the charts in a while for “Shouganai Yume Oibito;” it was the first H!P number 1 on Oricon since I started listening
– When I heard that Morning Musume was going to be at Anime Expo; even though I wasn’t able to go, just hearing that they were coming to the USA (somewhere other than Hawaii) made me happy
– Watching Ayaka’s Surprise English Lessons; early on in the fandom, I binge-watched all of the episodes and even showed them to my mom
– Watching H!P clips in general; the Idiot Girl/Crap Girl Tests and all of the H!P haunted house segments are really memorable (Ai-chan, Junjun, Reina / Kamei, Gaki-san / Miyabi, Maasa, Captain)
– Utaban clips~~~~!
– Reading H!P blogs and seeing what others thought about songs/music videos/other clips; also seeing others’ rankings for members and other things

So many memories~! ♥

There have been a couple of times where I’ve thought about slowly getting away from the fandom (2015 when they stopped having dance shots, and more recently after °C-ute and Momo graduated), but something always pulls me back in (Tsubaki Factory seems rather interesting, and I’m SO HAPPY that Manakan is back~!!!). I’m also excited about the digital releases; finally, regular content again! ^__^ I do have just one quick gripe: one of the performances by the H!P Dance Club this year used a song with some less-than-appropriate English language. I really hope they don’t trend in this direction. =( It spoiled their amazing dance performance for me. orz

Anyway, I can’t wait to see what H!P will do next! =D

Favorite Albums from H!P Groups – A Few Extra Notes

July 22, 2017

Seriously. I said it in the video, and I’ll say it again.

I REALLY wish they would get back to making albums regularly.

H!P album tracks are great. 1) You often get a variety of musical styles; look at Morning Musume’s sixth album: something cute with “Lemon Iro to Milk Tea,” something cool with “Dokusenyoku,” something relaxing with “Haru no Uta,” something unique with “Sukiyaki,” etc. 2) It adds an element of surprise because you can imagine what they’ll do for the costume and dance. Look at the different dances and costumes for “Moonlight night ~Tsukiyo no Ban da yo~.” I know that A-side costumes and even dances can be changed for concerts, but with album tracks (and coupling tracks) you can hear the song and imagine the presentation yourself first without having any previous versions to compare it to. … I’m not sure if this is making sense, but I understand what I’m trying to say. XD orz

♥🍑♥ Thank You, Momochi~! ♥🍑♥

June 30, 2017

Congratulations, Momo~!.jpg

I wanted to write something for Momo‘s graduation… but the day is almost over, and I really don’t know what to write… Not to sound weird or cheesy, but I can’t help but tear up every time I think about it.

When I first started paying attention to other Hello! Project groups, I found that I really enjoyed Berryz Koubou and Buono! music. Miyabi was my favorite for a while; I thought she was a great singer and really fashionable; I liked seeing her in both groups. Momo was also in both groups… but I found her so irritating. The super-cutesy voice and antics just weren’t my cup of tea. I had done a Hello! Project member sorter/ranker, and she was at the very bottom (I remember it being a promotional picture for “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!,” so it had to be around spring of 2008 or so?). At some point, though, that changed.

I think it might have been around the time “Gachinko de Ikou!” came out that I finally “got” Momo’s character (because it was, indeed, just a character), and I paid more attention to her voice, so I realized that she could actually sing very well (I remember really loving her last solo line in “Gachinko de Ikou!” for whatever reason). Actually, now that I think about it, the video for “Gachinko de Ikou!” really helped me warm up to Momo. I suddenly found myself to be an otomomochi. XD (I’m not sure if “otomomochi” was even a thing when that came out…)

Momo was always a highlight in talk segments (I would have loved to have seen her using her Momochi character on Utaban back in the day XD) (Apologies for the naughty word in the title of this video; I couldn’t find it elsewhere orz)…

…behind-the-scenes/making of/random clips (like in the making of for “Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda!” when the tide rolled in and Momo was stuck with water up past her knees)…

…and DVD magazines (Momo reading English cards for Buono! DVD Magazine Vol. 2).

Two times in particular that I couldn’t help but like her more are as follows: when Miya, Captain, and Maasa went into the haunted house at that theme park (poor Momo couldn’t stand the scary sounds)…

…and when Berryz was in Hawaii and that one guy was hiding in their van so he could jump out and scare them (around the 1:40 mark in the video; after he had “caused a scene” earlier). Again, poor Momo had been so terrified, I just wanted to give her a hug and pat her on the head.

There have just been so many great Momo Moments (that’s fun to say XD). I love that she was able to keep a smile through Berryz Koubou’s last concert as well as her own.

Koharu was the first graduation I dealt with as a fan (not including the Elder Club mass graduation or Umeda Erika‘s because I wasn’t following °C-ute too closely at that point); she wasn’t my favorite member of Morning Musume, so I didn’t really cry. Kamei, Junjun, and Linlin‘s graduation was sadder for me; I think I shed a few tears watching the graduation messages. The same goes for Ai-chan, Gaki-san, Mittsi, Reina, and Sayu (though, when it was first announced, I was certain I would be bawling when Gaki-san graduated). The end of Berryz hit me pretty hard, as did the end of °C-ute. Mano Erina, Riho, Zukki, Kanon, Meimei, Manakan… I was really sad to see all of them go… but I don’t recall every crying like I did when I watched a clip of the very end of Momo’s graduation concert. (Not sure how long this video will be available…)

Even though she’s about a year-and-a-half younger than me, I’ve come to look up to her so much; her work ethic and positivity. Ah… I’ll miss her so much.

♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥ 🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥🍑♥
Momo! Thank you for fifteen years of wonderful music, fun videos, hard work, and great memories~! I’ll always be an otomomochi~.

H!P Vlogs: How My Mom Remembers H!P Songs – Extra Notes

March 3, 2017

Here are a few more H!P songs and how my mom remembers them:

Pyoko Pyoko Ultra – the chicken one (she does remember “pyoko” though)
Koi ni Booing Buu! – the pig one
Kimi Sae Ireba Nanimo Irenai – the boring marching dance
Ai no Gundan – the good marching dance
Brainstorming – Riho and Daishi’s dance battle
Be Genki <Naseba Naru!> – the one with the cape/the dance YouTube wouldn’t let me upload for months
Genki+ – the video where I got stuck in a tree
Nanchatte Renai – the ballet-type move
What is LOVE? – the one where I was on J-MELO
Tomdachi wa Tomodachi Nanda! – bookshelves (from the music video)
Daite HOLD ON ME! – Kaori’s “Nee waratte?” and Taka-san making fun of it on Utaban
Mukidashi de Mukiatte – the jacket one
Kamome no Suihei-san – the one with the spoken intro
Mikan – pointing and hopping during the chorus
Our Songs – bridge in the background

There are others, but I’ll leave it at that~.

Hello! Project Song Associations – A Few Extra Notes

June 20, 2016

Here are some more random things I associate with H!P songs.

Mano Erina – “10 Carat no Kirameki.”
This association is actually pretty strong, so I don’t know why I forgot to include it in this video. Last year, I made an original choreography for this song. Around that same time, I was watching the first season of Daredevil on Netflix. For whatever reason, this song reminds me of not only that show, but very specifically the character Wilson Fisk. Actually, I strongly associate that show/character with ONE move from the dance. I call it the “Kingpin” move, even though it makes absolutely NO sense. XD

Morning Musume – “The Peace!”
This makes me think of how I first found out about Morning Musume. I had been really into music by Gackt, and he had appeared on a show at the same time as Morning Musume when they were promoting “The Peace!” There was a little skit that had Gackt and Kago Ai on a “date.” I didn’t watch it for the longest time because I didn’t realize it was a joke, and I didn’t care about who Gackt was dating; I just wanted to watch music videos or funny clips. XD Once I finally watched the clip though, I remember thinking, “Who are all of those girls?” and once I searched Kago Ai on Google, I learned about Morning Musume~.

Morning Musume – “Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari”
This was the first Morning Musume music video I ever saw (at least I think it was… it might have been “Kanashimi Twlight” or “Happy Summer Wedding,” but this is the one I always credit as the first one I saw XD).

And here’s a small selection of songs that are super-nostalgic for me because they remind me of when I first started listening to H!P:
Morning Musume – Bon kyu! Bon kyu! BOMB Girl
Morning Musume – Love & Peace! Hero ga Yattekita.
Morning Musume – Densha no Futari
Morning Musume – Ii Koto Aru Kinen no Shunkan
Morning Musume – Suki na Senpai
Morning Musume – Kotatsu no Uta ~jyuken story~
Morning Musume – Dokusenyoku
Morning Musume – Lemon Iro to Milk Tea
Morning Musume – Sukiyaki
Morning Musume – HELP!!
Morning Musume – TOP!
Morning Musume – Suggoi Nakama
Morning Musume – HEY! Mirai
Morning Musume – Shanimuni Paradise
Morning Musume – Genki+
Berryz Koubou – Munasawagi Scarlet
Berryz Koubou – Sprinter!
Berryz Koubou – Passion E-CHA E-CHA
Berryz Koubou – Yume de Do Up
°C-ute – LALALA Shiawase no Uta
Matsuura Aya – Ne~e?
Goto Maki – Uwasa na SEXY GUY

Plus the summer shuffle songs and a handful of songs from Tanpopo, Pucchimoni, and Minimoni. Oh, and also “Sakura Mankai.” (As a side note, I didn’t really get into Berryz or °C-ute until about three or four months into learning about H!P; I stuck mostly with Morning Musume and their old subgroups. (^_^”)>)

Ahhh~, even just writing the names of the songs makes me nostalgic! ^__^

Thanks for watching and reading~!

It’s Been Too Long Since My Last Update…

August 31, 2012

…Wow… it’s been too long since my last post. O_O Sorry! m(_ _)m I have some free time before work today, though, so I thought I’d write something for this blog. =D (Part of this post was written months ago, so please keep that in mind. orz) Here’s my take on a few H!P-related things…

1) Morning Musume
I am beyond excited for their next single. I just watched the dance rehearsal, and I already love the song and dance! =D And, of course, I’m excited for 13 Colorful Character as well.

2) Berryz Koubou
– For AnimeNEXT
I loved the video they uploaded to their channel where they introduced themselves and answered a few questions. XD
– Momochi
Momo’s getting a lot of hate for her “Momochi” act… and I’m not terribly fond of it myself, but I can’t bring myself to fault her. I’m sure management is pushing her to be as outrageous as possible with all of the “Yurushite nyan” and “otomomochi” business and such. I think it’s too bad that people are dismissing her talent because of that act. =(
– I absolutely loved Berryz’ “Loving you too much,” and I’m really irritated that iTunes still doesn’t have the “cha cha SING” single up yet. (>_<*)

3) °C-ute
… Actually, I can’t really think of anything °C-ute-related. “Aitai Aitai Aitai na” wasn’t very memorable to me. In fact, the only part of the song I can remember is “Aitai aitai aitai na.” (^_^”)>

4) Mano Erina
I’ve become a bigger fan of Mano-chan recently (even before her graduation was announced). =D I listened to some of her older songs, and, after really paying attention to them, I realized that I really liked them. Two that I can think of right off the bat are “Lucky Aura” and “Hajimete no Keiken.” I also really love “Hanakotoba,” “Glory days,” and “Tasogare Kousaten.” I’d like to listen to all of her album tracks eventually, but I’ll have to wait until I can buy them, because they seem to be nonexistent on YouTube. o_O

5) S/mileage
I feel like I’m not as big of a fan of S/mileage as I was before… orz It doesn’t have anything to do with Saki and Yuuka leaving (though I think I preferred having fewer members to share the focus). I think the music just hasn’t been grabbing me as much, though I really love “Chance Tourai!” (much more than “Choto Mate Kudasai!,” I’d say). I’m glad that we saw (and heard) more of Rina and Kana in “Suki yo, Junjou Hankouki.” Even though it’s not my favorite S/mileage release, I did like the opening music, and I am able to remember a  few parts of the song. I remember thinking the chorus sounded somewhat out of place with the rest of the song, but I’ve gotten used to it. (^_^”)> I’m glad we’re finally going to see a new album from them next year~.

6) Buono!
So far, I’m loving SHERBET. “FEVER” is probably my favorite album track on there (even though I haven’t had a chance to listen to all of them…), but “Never gonna stop!” is great, too. ^__^ Just by listening to the previews of the other songs, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the other tracks as well.

That’s about all for now~. (^_^”)>

More H!P PV Mini Reviews

February 29, 2012

Ah~, I haven’t posted anything this month! o_o I haven’t written any reviews for this year’s H!P PVs either! D= Here are some mini-reviews for four of this year’s H!P PVs.

Morning Musume – Pyoko Pyoko Ultra
I’m glad to see that the hate for this video has died down somewhat. (^_^”)> I thought the PV was cute by itself (the music and lyrics made it adorable). I loved seeing the dance shot in the tiny windows (I know it’s a cheap effect, but I still like it), but, like most others, I wasn’t terribly fond of the projected images moving across the set. However, I will say that I’m very glad that they tried something different besides the usual “closeup/dance shot/pose” PV combination. =D The super-bright yellow was another surprise, but, again, it’s rather nice to see something other than black and/or white outfits. I was a bit disappointed that the juukies weren’t given more or longer lines; it’s not as easy to judge their singing with such short lines. (^_^”)> I thought the scene with Gaki-san turning the cloud around was cute, as well as projected!Gaki-san with the umbrella and the cake and such. ^_^ It was actually really fun seeing so many members in a video again~.

S/mileage – Chotomate Kudasai!
I suppose I rather like the song, but the PV didn’t leave too much of an impression on me, so I haven’t listened to the song much. I’m not sure how I feel about the high notes… Anyway… The dance is rather spazzy in parts, isn’t it? XD The background reminded me of “Mr. Moonlight ~Ai no Big Band” as well as Momoiro Clover‘s “Mirai Bowl,” for whatever reason. I was a bit irritated with the fact that Kana and Rina were completely cut out of some parts of the dance; you could see the other four and that was it. (-_-“) I didn’t quite understand the parts where they hit the glass, and the parts where they were drawing on it didn’t interest me too much (though I laughed at the face Kana drew). I don’t have too much to say about this one; I put it in the same group as “Shortcut” and “Tachiagaaru;” that is, it didn’t really grab my interest, but I’m sure I’ll come to love the song and like the PV more. (^_^”)>

Buono! – Hatsukoi CIDER
AARRGHH, I love this song! I’ve listened to it so, so, so many times since the PV came out. Speaking of the PV, I love that, too! The black, white, and grey background really makes their pink outfits stand out (though I can’t say I’m a big fan of Miyabi‘s short pants). I love the window effects used in this video! I’ve seen it before, but it’s still really neat. And then there’s the glass floor effect reminiscent of “Renai Revolution 21,” which I also really like, especially when they’re moving the girls in and out of frame. This definitely ranks up there as one of my favorite Buono! songs, and the PV wasn’t too shabby either! =D

Buono! – DEEP MIND
It actually took a while for this song to grow on me, which is incredibly odd for me when it comes to Buono! songs. (^_^”)> My favorite part of the song is actually the slightly auto-tuned part (it doesn’t bother me so much, because I know that it would sound just as good without the effect) as well as the powerful “sagasou” shortly after that. As for the PV, the girls look gorgeous, but… nothing really happened in the video. (^_^”)> The camerawork and quick cuts were somewhat interesting, but I always like to see something more in PVs. orz

That’s all for now. (Sorry for not writing about Mano Erina‘s new PV this time around. m(_ _)m)

Hello! Project Music 2011 – Part 6: Buono!

December 31, 2011

Favorite Single – “Zassou no Uta”

Favorite Coupling Track – “Runaway Train”

Favorite Album Track – “1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou”

Favorite Cover – “Zassou no Uta” [Limited]; “Natsu Dakara!” [Regular]

Favorite PV – “JUICY HE@RT”

Favorite PV Moments (“Zassou no Uta”) – Momo popping up between Airi and Miyabi

Favorite PV Moments (“JUICY HE@RT”) – Close up shots in the building with the soft lighting

Favorite PV Moments (“Natsu Dakara!”) – The girls blowing bubbles and looking at the fish

Favorite Costume – “JUICY HE@RT” [Second set of outfits]

I was incredibly excited for Buono!‘s comeback single, “Zassou no Uta,” and I wasn’t disappointed. At first, I thought the song was a bit repetitive, but I grew to love it, and it’s now one of my favorite Buono! singles. =D The PV wasn’t my favorite, but I was just happy to see Buono! back~. “JUICY HE@RT” kind of reminded me of “Independent Girl ~ Dokuritsu Joshi de Aru Tame ni” from their third album, but I still liked the song. The PV was absolutely gorgeous. The other coupling track (which actually comes before “JUICY HE@RT” on the tracklist, but it didn’t have a PV), “Runaway Train,” is also a very enjoyable song. I especially like the chorus. Like “JUICY HE@RT,” there are no solo lines in this song, but I think it works better with this song.

“Natsu Dakara!” was a slower single, but it was still very Buono!-ish by the fact that it was amazing. XD I like the fairly calm music with the almost exaggerated beat. I am absolutely in love with the lines “jama wo shitakunai kimochi to/Ah jama shitai kimochi tatakatteta,” though I don’t exactly know why. The chorus is really memorable, and I was happy to hear spoken lines during the break in the song. “Ice Mermaid,” the coupling track… reminds me of surfing. XD The lyrics are surprisingly mature, and the girls use deeper singing voices that also lend to a more mature feeling.

Buono!‘s mini album, partenza, continues their pattern of memorable songs. “partenza~Lets Go!!!~” is a cool, electronic-sounding song, while “FrankincenseΨ,” Miya’s solo, is more or less the “sexy song” of the album. Airi’s solo, “My alright sky,” is a slower and very pretty song, while Momo’s solo, “Kia Ora Gracias Arigato,” is much more energetic. The final new song on the album, “1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou” is a cover song, but that doesn’t make it any less appealing than the other songs; in fact, it’s my favorite song on the album~!

Buono! came back strong, and, since we’ve already seen the PVs for their next single, I can say with confidence that they will continue to have great releases. They have yet to release a song that I dislike. =D

Buono! Live Tour 2011 Summer Rock’n Buono! 4 at Yokohama Blitz

August 28, 2011

I just finished watching Buono!‘s concert from their live stream on YouTube~! =D At first, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to watch it, because our Internet connection wasn’t working so well, but it finally loaded about half-an-hour before the concert started. At first, the video was glitching pretty terribly, and it would pause to buffer quite a lot as well, but I noticed a comment that said it helped to watch it on their channel, so I did that, and it was much, much better~. Unfortunately, I didn’t figure that out until about seven songs in, so I didn’t get to hear too much of those ones. =/ Anyway, after a few songs, I decided that I should probably write down the set list so I would have something to look at for this post, so here they are (I’m fairly certain I got all of them…)!

1. partenza~Lets Go!!!~
From the little that I saw of this one, it looked like a really cool performance; the dance was interesting and the girls sounded great. I don’t really understand why some people hate this song so much (well, I suppose I kind of do, but…). o_O

2. FrankincenseΨ
For Miyabi‘s solo, Airi and Momo danced along and did some of the backup vocals (on the “To Prize”/”Get Wise” lyrics and such). I actually rather like the song, but I knew that it would have a “sexy” dance, which it did, and I’m not too fond of that. (^_^”)> It wasn’t as bad as some that I’ve seen, though. Overall, it was a good performance. (An MC followed this song.)

3. Rottara Rottara
Aaahh, I wish it hadn’t glitched during this one! T_T I love this song, and the girls seemed to have fun with it. Then again, they seemed to have fun with all of them.

4. Kira Kira
This is a cute song~. I was kind of surprised to hear it though. I don’t know why. (^_^”)> I do know that I’ll probably be listening to it more now. =D

5. Kia Ora Gracias Arigato
Aargh, another one that I wish hadn’t glitched! I really love Momo’s solo song, especially the chorus. Airi and Miya danced and sang along with the “Yuuki! Genki! Yaruki! Hyakubai!” and the “Wow wow” lines. (An MC followed this song.)

6. Blue-Sky-Blue
This is a pretty song, but, again, I only heard a few bits and pieces of it. (-_-”)

7. My alright sky
This is Airi’s solo with Momo and Miya doing the backup vocals. This is a really lovely song, and it really shows off what a skillful singer Airi is. I think this song would even impress Airi-haters (I can’t believe they exist!). (An MC followed this song.)

8. Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!
Since I started watching the concert on their channel (instead of on the YouTube page) about halfway through “My alright sky,” “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” was actually the first one I watched that had minimum glitching/buffering, and let me tell you… I was excited. XD I started singing along and doing the arm movements. For the part where they “fall asleep,” they had a prolonged pause, which I thought was a nice touch.

At this point, the girls went offstage to change while the band (DOLCE) was introduced.

9. Renai Rider
They only did a very small portion of this song… a little more than the chorus, I think.

10. Muteki no ∞ Power
I like this song~~~! =D However, I don’t seem to remember anything in particular about the performance. It was great, but I don’t remember anything standing out.

11. Nakimushi Shounen
This one got me really fired up! It’s sooo much fun to listen to, and the girls really got into it. 8D (An MC followed this song, and Momo declared it to be “drink time.” XD)

12. 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou
They sang the first part of the song a cappella. ❤ I’ve been listening to this song almost constantly since their mini album came out, so, when I recognized it, I started tearing up a bit. XD This performance was amazing, and it just reminded why I love this song and Buono!

13. JUICY HE@RT
Unlike the PV, the girls all had solo lines in this version, and there was a dance as well. I think I prefer it with the solo lines (though I still think the PV is gorgeous).

14. Ice Mermaid
I haven’t listened to this song very much, but I’ve never heard a bad performance from Buono!, and this was no exception. (An MC followed this song.)

15. Our Songs
This is another one that made me really excited! I think I previously described this song as a very “Buono!-like” Buono! song, and that still holds true. ❤

16. Lady Panther
A great performance of one of my favorite Buono! coupling tracks~! I found it only slightly odd, because I’m used to the version where they had the leopard print outfits. XD The singing was perfect, though.

17. Janakya Mottainai!
Another one of my favorite coupling tracks! =DD I didn’t hear as much of this one because my brother was talking to me at the time, but it was still awesome.

18. MY BOY
Yay~, so many high energy songs! 8D I always like the songs where they sing in deeper voices.

The girls then went offstage. The crowd chanted for Buono! (and DOLCE, too, I believe) for about five minutes before they came back on in different costumes (probably my favorites).

19. Natsu Dakara!
They did a beautiful job on this one. During Airi’s spoken lines, the crowd was going wild. My favorite part was probably Airi’s lines after the spoken lines (where she sings while the music is quiet, then it picks back up partway through). ^__^ (An MC followed this song.)

20. Warp!
This is such an awesome song, and it’s just as awesome watching the crowd participation as everyone twirls their towels around. To be honest, I wanted to join in, so I found a hat that was Airi green and started twirling that. XDD I felt a bit stupid, but it was a lot of fun. I can only imagine how amazing being at the actual performance must feel.

And that was the end~. I have to say, as much as I enjoyed °C-ute‘s concert when I watched that one on YouTube, I really, really loved Buono!’s, because I knew more of the songs (and it didn’t glitch as much). ❤ The only thing that would have made it better (for me) is if “Zassou no Uta” had been included (and maybe “Gachinko de Ikou!” and “Kataomoi.,” too).

The highlights for me (though I’m sure you could probably tell) were “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!,” “Nakimushi Shounen,” “1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou,” “Our Songs,” and “Warp!” ^___^

Also, I love the T-shirts for this tour! I’ve always loved the card theme (I’ve done something similar with my own pictures before). I actually really, really want an Airi shirt, because Airi is my favorite member, green is my favorite color, and the club/clover is my favorite suit. XD The only problem is, I don’t really like wearing peoples’ faces on my clothes (and they’re expensive!). XD

So ends a great experience. I am so grateful that the H!P groups have YouTube channels and that they’ve decided to stream concerts every once in a while. ❤

Buono! – JUICY HE@RT PV

February 22, 2011

This PV seems like it was expensive to make (at least, more expensive than a lot of the recent H!P PVs), but it didn’t seem like much was going on… =(

Settings – A fancy yacht, some fancy cars, and a fancy hotel (or building at least) make this Buono!‘s ritziest video yet. I really love the lighting of the hotel. In fact, the coloring for the whole video seems really elegant.

Outfits – I much prefer these outfits over the ones in “Zassou no Uta.” For the yacht scenes, there are the mostly-black-with-some-white outfits (I like Miya‘s best; she’s not wearing those dreadful fishnets), and for the other scenes the girls are wearing shiny, black coats, Union Jack-styled sweaters, plaid skirts, and tall boots. Also, their hair accessories are in their Buono! colors (except Momo‘s looks more white than pink).

Dance – Again… no dance. (-_-”)

Acting – We know how much Buono! loves their food, so the pizza-eating scene was realistic enough. XD When they each got out of the cars, they were perfect pictures of stars. =D

Singing – Whoa, no solo lines whatsoever! o_o That’s okay, because Buono! still sounds great.

Song – The song has grown on me more since I first heard it, but I still prefer “Zassou no Uta.” This one seemed a bit like a more forgettable “Independent Girl ~ Dokuritsu Joshi de Aru Tame ni.” Then again, I might come to really love it like I did with some of Buono!’s album tracks.

Overall, I think I may like this PV more than the one for “Zassou no Uta.” The girls look and sound great, and the video was just really pretty~. My favorite scenes were the ones in the hotel/building; the lighting was awesome, and the switching between the girls was a neat effect.
